Hi! My name is Candace, and I am the Owner/Operator of The Crafting Owlephant, with some help from my partner with sending off packages, helping me choose supplies, helping me brainstorm new ideas, and altogether just keeping my brain on track. Also, my child models some of my creations. Actually, one of the hats that I made for them will be a free pattern on here at some point. So, here's a huge THANK YOU and shoutout to Robert and Bug! I don't know how I would keep it all together without y'all.
This is a Mimic Dice Storage Box that I made for Robert. It is definitely my best seller as far as patterns and finished items go. I am currently working on another finished one to post for sale in my shop. The updated box has styrene added in all of the sides to make it sturdier. All of the finished boxes in my shop will be made this way so that it doesn't collapse in on itself. The clasp has also been updated to a more secure clasp and not a snap button.
What I do:
The short version? I crochet things and write patterns.

The long version? I am a stay-at-home mom from a small town in Georgia with a passion for creating things, crafting, and cooking (Who knows, maybe I'll share some of my favorite recipes with you in the future). Crochet was the perfect hobby for me to do in my "me time". I never really expected it to become my favorite thing to do, or that I would own my own crochet business one day when I picked my first hook up over 10 years ago, yet here we are. I am selling patterns on Etsy and doing quite well at it. I thoroughly enjoy writing my own patterns and sharing them with all of you. I regularly have sales around the holidays, because I understand that that's when money gets tight. I am also going to start posting some of my patterns for free in my blog, so definitely keep an eye out for that.
